The App collects only the minimum information required to function:
- Google Account Information: When you use the Google Drive backup feature, the App uses your Google account information, including your name and email address, to authenticate your Google account and provide access to your personal Google Drive for backup and restore purposes. We use this information only for Google Drive authentication and backup/restore functionality. We do not use your Google account information for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not access unrelated data in your Google account.
- Financial Data: All ledger entries, transactions, and account data you enter are stored locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to any server operated by us.
- Biometric Data: If you enable biometric lock, authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (Android BiometricPrompt API). The App does not access, store, or transmit your biometric data.
- Google Drive access is used only to save and restore your backup files at your explicit request.
- Your financial data stays on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
- Internet access is used solely for Google Drive backup/restore and to check for updates.
All data entered into the App is stored locally on your device using an SQLite database. You are fully in control of this data. Google Drive backups are stored in your own Google Drive account under a folder named by the App, and are accessible only by you.
We do not sell your personal data.
When you choose to use the Google Drive backup feature, your Google account information, including your name and email address, is used to authenticate your Google account and provide access to Google Drive for backup and restore purposes.
The App does not share your financial or ledger data with us or with any third party. Backup files are stored in your own Google Drive account.
Any data you voluntarily share through WhatsApp or email using the App's sharing features is sent through those services and is subject to their respective privacy policies.
The App uses the following third-party service:
- Google Drive API – used only for cloud backup and restore when you choose to use this feature. Google Drive access is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
The App also allows optional sharing via WhatsApp and email. Any information you voluntarily share through these platforms is subject to their respective privacy policies.
- INTERNET: Required for Google Drive backup/restore and update checks.
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check network availability before attempting cloud operations.
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data. Your local database is stored in the app's private storage on your device. Cloud backups are protected by Google's security infrastructure via your Google account credentials.
We respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. Since the App does not require user registration or account creation, you can manage and delete your data instantly:
In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your local database by clearing the App's data in Android settings. To delete your cloud backups, use the "Delete Cloud Backup" button inside the App's Backup & Restore screen.
Web Request: If you have uninstalled the App and want to ensure any linked backup configuration or data reference is completely removed from our end, please request deletion by emailing us at shirazitech.official@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Your request will be processed within 7 business days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
